It was developed with the concept of providing a "compact, lightweight, and easy-to-handle calibrator at a low cost" using a feedback control type acoustic calibrator. A stable condenser microphone is used as the control sensor. Additionally, a temperature correction function has been added, and the generated sound pressure level is strictly managed in real-time, making it less prone to errors caused by changes in atmospheric pressure or poor microphone insertion, resulting in unmatched accuracy and stability despite its small size. Furthermore, it comes with a dedicated adapter, allowing for calibration of precision sound level meters as well as compatibility with 1-inch and 1/2-inch microphones. The generated frequency and sound pressure level are nominally 1000Hz and 94dB, making it an essential standard instrument in sound environments equipped with many new technologies.
